How Often Are TRT Follow-Ups?

September 2026·2 min read

Your clinician sets the schedule. Follow-ups and repeat labs are usually more frequent in the first months of TRT and then spaced out once things are stable.

What follow-ups check

  • Your testosterone level and blood count
  • Side effects, such as acne, breast tenderness or sleep changes
  • How you feel, and whether treatment still makes sense

Between visits

Contact your clinician if something changes. For chest pain, trouble breathing or signs of a stroke, call 911.

On the quarterly TRT plan, labs and visits are included in the price.
